Intern With Us
We offer three ‘fully formed’ and ‘informed’ internships. We provide structured and mutually beneficial internships, with previous interns now working successfully within the industry.
Partnering with the London College of Fashion to offer official placements, we have welcomed second year BA Bespoke Tailoring Students year after year.
If you have a ‘passion for making’ - our internships will be perfect for you!
We believe in the power of our internships and the doors they can open within the Bespoke Tailoring community.
Our internships are great for college or Uni students, providing work experience alongside your tailoring studies or perhaps you are a graduate looking to gain a block of ‘real world’ experience, then an internship with us is an ideal stop gap opportunity. They are also great for people of any age who are on a new career path and need to gain experience.
Although it’s important to note that we cannot accept absolute beginners due to the high end nature of the work. Therefore an understanding of bespoke tailoring is essential.
Our internships are fully transparent and as such, a description of each role is available for you to download below.
We want you to learn with us and understand what it takes to become a professional tailor. That’s why when you intern with us you are treated as one of the team and given real tasks to complete. We are there to support you, and to ensure you are learning to the highest Savile Row standards.
As a ‘Makers Only’ studio we do require your passion to be within the making aspect of tailoring.

“During my internship with Holly Robins, I had the unique opportunity to delve into the world of bespoke tailoring.
Working closely with Holly, I gained hands-on experience in the intricate process of bespoke trousers making. This experience taught me the significance of repetition, patience and precision that is involved in constructing a high-quality garment.
Beyond technical skills, I also developed understanding of the process of operation and communication skills to translate visions into reality. This internship not only sharpened my tailoring skills but also broadened my understanding of the dedication and passion required in the world of bespoke tailoring.
Because of this internship and thanks to Hollys connections I went on to become an all round tailoring apprentice at Fedro Gaudenzi. Holly and I remain great friends to this day, her mentorship has been invaluable to me.”
Sandesh Limbu - interned 2015-2020 - Currently at Fedro Gaudenzi

“I joined Holly’s studio in May 2018 as a 4 week uni placement that lasted to almost 5 months because I didn’t want to leave but I had to go back to my final year. I felt right at ease since day 1 and my training was to the highest of standards and professionalism. It run smoothly and according to my skillset and level of knowledge. I was shown all the tips and tricks of trouser making by Holly and she has been by my side all the time. I had the chance to experience making for a variety of Tailoring Houses within Savile Row which is a very rare opportunity to see. I felt valued and appreciated every single moment and I always remember my time there very fondly. Beyond doubt this was the best example for the Bespoke Tailoring trade and if you’re thinking of gaining an insight and experience in tailoring do not hesitate. I guarantee that you will love Holly and her studio!!!!”
